Learn Sashiko from the Heart—Anywhere, Anytime

Sashiko is more than just stitching—it’s rhythm, mindset, and legacy. That’s why I created the Online Sashiko Class: Core & Essence. It’s not just about learning how to stitch; it’s about experiencing the heart of the Sashiko we’ve been practicing in Japan for generations.

This is the online version of my in-person workshop, carefully adapted so you can join from wherever you are in the world, at your own pace. Once you sign up, you’ll receive a welcome email, a thoughtfully prepared material package, and access to recorded video lectures. The videos walk you through Sashiko’s deep cultural background, how to use traditional tools, and how to discover your own stitching rhythm—not by copying, but by feeling. The section on Unshin (運針) is especially vital. This is where the true Core & Essence resides.

When you're ready, we’ll meet live online. I’ll check your posture and movement, answer your questions, and ensure you’re truly connected to the Sashiko we hope to pass down. It’s a bit like a one-on-one lesson, even across the screen.

Because I want to provide personal support to each learner, I limit how many people can join each month. If the class is marked as “Sold Out,” please add your name to the waiting list. I promise—Sashiko is worth the wait.

This isn’t just a class. It’s a shared journey. I invite you to join with sincerity, curiosity, and respect—and together, we can keep the stories of Sashiko alive.
