These traditional Japanese thread snips are finally back in stock.
Made by Misuzu Hasami in Japan, these compact Nigiri Basami are designed for quickly and precisely cutting thread during Sashiko, sewing, embroidery, and other handwork.
The spring-style body opens naturally after each cut, allowing the snips to be used comfortably with a simple squeezing motion. The dark Ibushi finish gives the steel a subdued, traditional appearance, while the polished cutting edges provide a clean and precise cut.
Their compact size fits comfortably in the hand and makes them convenient to keep beside your stitching project.
How to Use
Hold the thread snips in your hand and gently squeeze the body to close the blades. When you release your grip, the spring-style body opens naturally for the next cut.
