In the current production lot, the color of #10 Original White has changed slightly compared to previous lots. If you have a preference regarding the cream tone of the white, please select either #10A or #10C from the options available. A comparison photo is provided on this page.
From left to right:
- #10A – 2024–2025 (Early Reproduction Lot)

- #10C – 2026 (Current Lot)
- #12 – Standard Bright White
For orders outside the United States and Canada, all #10 Original White thread will be supplied from the current #10C lot. We have a limited quantity of #10A available in the United States, and once that inventory is depleted, all orders will be fulfilled with #10C. If no preference is specified, we will select and ship the #10 Original White currently available in stock.
Although these threads are chemically dyed, we produce them in relatively small batches, and subtle variations in color can occur from lot to lot. We will continue working to make production as consistent as possible.
The closure of the original manufacturer was a significant loss for us. Even so, we remain committed to preserving this thread and will continue doing our best to keep it available for future generations of stitchers.
