The discontinued Sashi.Co Original Color Sashiko Thread has been renewed and returns in 2025 with a refined finish and carefully adjusted tones.

Compared to the previous version, the renewed threads have a more matte appearance, with less sheen, offering a calm and subtle presence. While not naturally dyed, these colors were intentionally developed to serve as a beautiful alternative to plant-dyed threads, blending softly into traditional and contemporary Sashiko work.

The renewed collection features two carefully balanced colors:

• T0 - Ecru Original White - Color from Original Cotton
• T1 - Beige – gentle and warm, reminiscent of softly aged natural fibers
• T2 - Moss Green – muted and earthy, adding depth without overpowering the fabric

Both colors retain the characteristic softness associated with natural dye aesthetics, without the brightness often found in synthetic dyes.

These threads are dyed in Japan using synthetic dyes, making them more accessible in price while preserving the visual harmony and quiet tone valued in Sashiko stitching.

The T0 and T1 are the same threads that was only available in the USA for the year of 2025.
